Penrith's draw this year...

I don't think either argument can claim victory here.

At the end of the day you can't argue that penrith havent had an easier draw then most. Played the least top 8 teams out of anyone else in the finals. Stats don't lie.

However no matter what their draw was over the last few weeks they have proved beyond doubt that they belong in the top 4.

Well don't panthers, they deserve everything that comes to them.

The challenge for Penrith will be when people start to rate them along side other premiership contenders, right now (and all year) they've been the team that everyone is just waiting to fall off.

It's easy to perform under those conditions, if you fail no one cares because you were expected to fail.

the interesting thing is now Tommy could well be right. If you could pick the teams you would least like to play souths and roosters are who you would pick.We are now on the other side of the draw and avoid them

Ironic that we beat the OPs team, which gives us the easier finals draw.
As always Penny fans are just enjoying the ride. Maybe we will fall over ..... but not next week.

The team has now achieved everything I hoped for this year. Anything more is a bonus. But judging by the look on Sowie's face last night, I think he wants more.

Yeah you're not wrong. We've always performed better as underdogs. We've been in the unusual circumstance of being underdogs most week despite being in the top 4 all year. We won't find out until next year but once we start getting rated we'll also have the benefit of more experience and our injured stars being back. Should balance it out and then some.

I f**king love this team.

That win by the Pennies last night was nothing short of stunning.

To beat the premiership favourites (who also have a rubber band salary cap) with the injuries you blokes have, away from home, after trailing 12-4 was unbelievable. One of the best wins in Penrith's history and probably one of the most famous finals wins ever.

Penmyth fans should be thanking me for saying they won't win another game all season.
Nobody places any importance on your opinion. You are just the latest of the parasitic trolls we've picked up, and not a particularly imaginative one.
The only myth here is you.

I kinda agree with you to a point, but I honestly don't think this team of players is really worried about whether they're favourites or not. As Sowie said at the press conference, and all the other players have been saying all along, every player knows his job and goes out and executes his role with professionalism. The younger guys are enjoying the ride and the more experienced players are so level-headed that nothing seems to phase the team as a whole.

Penrith are shit. Manly will towel them up.

Manly Roosters GF. The match the fans want and deserve.

Why??

Manly dont have any fans (at least none that travel!)!

Roosters have plenty on the bandwagon, but a few probably fell off this weekend!

Nope. The two most loathsome clubs in the comp along with Brisbane. Not true working man league areas like in the west. The real fans want to see both teams buried, and preferably quite deep.
