Penrith's draw this year...

Truth be told, I love the Panthers as a side. They are most peoples 2nd team, including mine. However, what has annoyed some people (me especially) is Penrith FANS seemingly gloating about their side being competition heavyweights, when such an assumption seemed ridiculous and unproven at best. I have no doubt that Penrith are building to something special, and I look forward to seeing that. I do not have a vendetta against Penrith. I just take exception to ignorance from one-eyed fans.

You're embarrassing yourself mate. Terrible trolling. If you want to get a rise out of a fanbase by talking down a club, Penrith is not the club. We all know our club has underperformed horribly for decades and is still not in contention yet.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - no team from this years comp would have been even borderline top 4 standard most years.

Plus there are three teams (my own included) who would have comfortably been wooden spooners in any other post-super league year.

Where are all the Penrith fans now you f**king bunch of pretends. I would love to be f**ked to go back through this thread and quote you all. How professional, slick and strong you made your team out to be. The Penrith Moylan's are a myth. They are a bunch of plodders 1-17. To all the clowns who thought these bunch of hacks would make some sort of imprint on this competition, I told you so.
Please do that, you shit stain. You will find 99% of Panthers fan have been rational about our chances. This thread was started by opposition fans, just to make sure we knew our place. Apparently our draw is easy, but as we've seen this round that there are no easy games.

I encourage all readers to go back through this thread. What will mostly stand out is the irrational rantings of this Leaguelegend20 specimen. He is an insecure little nobody. Even his fellow Wests fans can't stand him.

The top eight is wide open. As I've said all along Penrith's goal is to make the finals. Panther fans defending their club is not reliant on week to week results and a few losses does not sway our opinion. We've got to step up now. A lot of teams do.

Seriously learn to read, surely there isn't more than 2 examples of Penrith fans claiming we have a good shot at winning this year? Every second comment is someone telling you that we just want to make the 8 and get some finals experience. Who are you trying to convince that we aren't going to win the premiership? Your arguing with yourself.

I seem to recall you doing exactly the same in the Tigers-Dragons game day thread. Because I tipped against your team (correctly I might add).

The Panthers have some issues at the moment. We are certainly not alone there. I have predicted in this thread we would make the Top 4, and we are still on target to do that, but really need to find some starch up front urgently. The Roosters loss was expected but the Sharks loss is a setback, no doubt about it.

Your continued presence here and in Panthers forums can only be interpreted as trolling.

And I retracted my remarks once I realised how ridiculous it is to vilify someone for an opinion. You should teach some of your fellow supporters the same thing.

If trolling constitutes giving an opinion that differs from yours, then I guess I am a troll.

Unlike all you dribbling gronks, I will be more than happy to return here and absolutely cop it deluxe if I am wrong. I will put my hand up and cop a barrage. However, aside from those who are more concerned with personally attacking me, it is clear to all that the Penrith Moylan's are nothing more than pretenders.

I now await the incoming personal attacks as you fail to prove the very topic of this thread.

...... In other news, ex NRL star Ben Walker is baffled as to why he is regularly being punched in the face by complete strangers.

" I don't understand it", said the former Manly and South Sydney legend. " It happens on an almost daily basis. Maybe it's a case of mistaken identity.

Now go and find those quotes you LIED about. The ones where Penrith fans are talking up the team's premiership chances. If there's so many examples, just give us one.

Well if our easy draw was the reason we were doing well, we would have won our two games against the Sharks and been sitting equal first with the Sea Eagles. But we lost both our games against the lowest ranked team in the competition at the moment, and have won against Bulldogs in 3rd place, Broncos in 8th place (both games without Wallace too). We lost to Storm by 1 point (without Soward).

Roosters smashed us, again without Wallace. Souths smashed us in our only game against a team currently in the top 8 with both halves.

We haven't done too badly considering we have had 5 or 6 halves combinations. And 3 or 4 games where we lost a 6 or 7 in the first half. we're not looking good at the moment. But we still have some time to get back to form. The teams fighting for the same spots are also struggling, so we haven't even suffered on the ladder as yet.
