The Cruze is a global car that is manufactured in different countries with different badges (including Chevrolet in the US), so the badge is actually a fit. Some (Australian manufactured) Commodores are sold in the US with a Chevrolet badge (formerly Pontiac), so I guess at a stretch it could be argued that it fits on the Commodore as well. But I doubt that has anything to do with why dickheads here put that badge on their cars.
