haha, the emoticons seem abit overdone as well, haha is simple and effective, plus you can have varying degrees of it, the number of couplets (ha's) indicates the hardiness of the laugh, while the use of a prefix, DA, BA or MWA, can set teh tone, similarly the use of caps can come into play, strategic spacing gives it a mood.
