South juniors & South's were different organisations. Crowe & Holmes a court gave rabbits a professional setup. Under piggins South's were run like it was the 1960's. Broncos was the model for superleague.
1994 was the comp's most successful year to that point. Look at the table; easts, balmain, wests were an afterthought. Easy to see why people thought inner city clubs were expendable.
