Peter V'landys - New NRL/ARLC Chairman

V'landys hailed himself as the saviour of rugby league and fumbleball for restarting the season in 2020 during the enforced COVID-19 isolation period. A year later he refused to send Australia and and New Zealand to the World Cup because of COVID-19.

Why aren't we hearing any criticism about his erratic behaviour?

He set the international game back.

Obviously the sycophants who defend him don't care as their only concern is propping up unviable Sydney clubs.

So you've adopted the worst traits from the residents of Sutherland to fit in with their football club?
And what would they be? A great job. Lovely family. Big house and no mortgage. Great physical health. Good beer. Love a punt. Great nrl club to follow. Life’s tough mate. Now this is the bit where you tell me I’m delusional and I’m not actually living the life. Off ya go!

Why aren't we hearing any criticism about this double standard from his sycophants?

The world, Australia and UK included, was in the midst of the Omnicron Wave in Dec 21/Jan 22, and the players had just endured a iso/bubble season.

It would have been sheer hubris to have a RLWC at that time.

I know that you QLD and WA residents had a easy go of it, but you've really got to get some perspective.

The first half of 2020 was even worse, yet he got the NRL restarted and boasted about it non-stop.

Which he should have, quite frankly.

I thought he was dreaming when he stated he would have it going in May.

But that's nothing like sending players overseas for a month to one of the worst Covid affected countries in the world, all before a Vaccine was available.

I don't think the players were in strict "lockdown" like people in NSW and Vic experienced for months and years

I think they were in a "bubble", which was less restrictive but still not great

The Olympics were held in Japan in 2021.

What that would be is that his teams halfback, who brought them back into the finals, comes from a stones throw from Sutherland, Yarrawarah.
The only way his team has got back into contention is by buying two players who have come through Cronulla's winning systems. One even came from NQ but the cowboys rejected him. It took the Sharks to show what a dense decision that was.
This is what it would be.

You saying something is "flawed" doesn't make it so. I've seen you deflect and run when confronted with questions you cannot answer.
It’s because you are so scary with your intense questioning techniques. You are a unit. That whole ‘ITS NOT FAIR!’ approach you take has that worn me down! You da man GROTD! If you keep yelling at the clouds who knows? The world might be your oyster! Just stay off the pipe.
