China is a benevolent nation just look at tiennamin square and their plans to annex Taiwan

Australia is doing its best to avoid Chinese bases right on our border which is way cheaper than a drastic increase in military spending.

But it isn’t, and it won’t. It’ll be offering the same as it’s done for other sports in WA, stadium upgrade which benefits a number of sports, cofe which they’ve done for soccer, union, basketball, athletics and afl already, jnr funding which they do for all sports.

the two are not comparable. PNG doesn’t exist without massive govt funding, perth would, what happens to png when govt changes?

as other have said, this is pnt nrl strategy it’s a Vlandys cash grab likely set to end in tears.

The wa govt approached the arlc and asked what it would take to get a team

the arlc preferred nz as the next bid

both png and Perth had their bids improved due to govt involvement

It’s pretty weird albanese is inviting vlandys there

did pvl tag along for the whole trip as part of his entourage or was he already going due to Vegas

hopefully pvl gets in the pms ear about other issues like a new stadium for canberra

after all pvl is making australia safe from a Chinese invasion
