It's a pretty simple concept. Here's an example for the dullards. A kid from the Parramatta area plays junior football and aspires to play for Parramatta when he grows up. He manages to do that. He plays with players who aren't from the Parramatta area, from Queensland, from New Zealand etc. One or two of this kid's juniors may well have been picked up by other clubs.

All go in the mix. For 25 years 'your' Melbourne have contributed nothing to the mix but have taken plenty from it. Perth add nothing to the mix either.

Yet, you, an afl fan posing as a league fan constantly disparage Sydney teams that do provide players to the player pool.

people can fap all the want about Perth but one suburb in panthers territory like st Mary’s will provide more players than wa ever will

and panthers have dozens of similar such areas and have no stretched out towards Bathurst

we need more clubs who can produce juniors and not more Melbourne storms who don’t which is why nz and qld should get teams and Perth and Adelaide can wait after them

You need capital cities and big areas to be represented in order to bring in revenue. You also need areas that produce players.

I’ve been to Brookie like 20 times and it’s certainly one of the worst Sydney club grounds now

and the lack of public transport means forget about any decent away fans from the rest of Sydney unless they catch a train, ferry, bus and bus and get home at 1 am lol

as bad as nso oval is it’s on a direct train line
