It was already leased prior to the NRL purchasing ithe property. So Id put the house on it being the case..



Its max 71 rooms - This isnt a big Hotel. NRL Patronage wont affect this as much as you believe. And Ive said repeatedly, its still going to be a contributer, just not a major one over the course of a financial year

Another poster commented how funny it would be if the nrl bought the ground then sold it for developers making the sharks move

My response was that was unlikely given the hotel they own next to the ground would lose value if that happened

Why would it lose value? It's a football field. It's not like any developers are going to lay concrete over Cronulla beach.

I've never met anyone who has booked a hotel room so that they get a view of a football field.

Most clubs stay elsewhere.
Homebush hotels should never be booked for GF as Melbourne found out.

Being walking distance to a beach is what makes that Hotel a good choice, Not the NRL being up the road

I wouldn't say walking distance. It's at least 1km away from a beach. Maybe more.
