And which developer would you prefer to make the game? I'd prefer EA Sports but I think Tru Blu is the only one who would.

EA Sports make an average Rugby game, why would you want them to ava crack at League..
Sure itd be nice to just have a game to play... But if its shite and glitchy and not true too the sport, whats the point??

EA knows that the $$$ it would cost them to develop the game vs the return in sales $$$ would not be worth doin..

I disagree. All they'd need to do is work on their already existing Rugby Engine.

I also think an EA branded RL game would sell really well. Remember how well the first NRL game sold? The only reason subsequent ones sold poorly was because they all sucked.

Best sports developer

NBA Elite is going great

2K5 football is better than any Madden game

FIFA 12 is buggier than a Bethesda game

Big f**k no to this petition

Meh they're still the best. Who's better?

EA have made the best sports games ever. Can't get everything right.

Er, 2K by a f**king mile.

NBA 2K shat on Live to the point that EA had to revamp their NBA series and then the most epic of glitches has meant no EA NBA game for years.

The only reason 2K don't make NFL or soccer games is licensing despite the 2K American football game from 7 years ago shitting on EA's efforts.

Yea the NRL games sucked... because nothing was improved.. You still ran out for no reason, you passed the ball to the wrong person, the animations were stiff...

But EA Rugby is no better, Im not sure which game youve played, but tbh the NRL games were better, EA doesnt care enough, they put the minimum amount of effort and $$$ into developing a Rugby game, and they only did the last one to capitalise on the World Cup..

Rugby is an international sport with a larger fan base, Leagues pinnacle is State of Origin, EA would not recoup the $$$ spent..

Been playing World Cup 2006 lately (Don't ask). Have 100%'d BUT what drove me insane the most, was the AI defenders would literally PULL you off the ball. They would grab your shoulders and drag you off the ball.

Seriously, WTF?!

Their games LOOK good, but dunno what the play style would be like. I'd certainly concerned about it not being true to the sport.

Can't be any worse than that awful RL Live game though. Wow/

Frankly I don't give a damn if they don't recoup the money. They'll make a better game than any of the games released recently.

I don't really care who makes the game, I just want an NRL game designed by a leading developer. If 2k are better then fine they're better.

Last Rugby game I played was 05 lol. I'm aware 08 sucked.

EA are larger and wealthier so are more likely to actually take the gamble.

Regardless of whether you think their product isn't as good as another companies, I guarantee that all of you (that are gamers anyway) would buy EA Rugby League. TT would you really not buy it?

ARL 96 is still the best RL game ever produced. Those nuffies that produced the latest versions of RL should just give up creating games altogether, it's not their thing obviously

Wouldn't imagine you would

Why would I? I just want a Rugby League game that doesn't completely suck. I want to at least make them consider it. It's not in my job description as a consumer to consider whether a product is unmarketable for a company I want a product from.

It was an EA game yes. Seems like you're not the most qualified person to be talking about this.

Lol I was just checking. I thought I remembered it being one but I didn't want to go on about it and be wrong.

Great game that one. EA + Rugby League is a dream match. :)

Jeez I didn't realise the people on here would be so negative. Why is LU such a negative place?
