Just when we thought the NRL was going to shit the NFL trumps in with a winner.

Not having watched NFL with any greta verve or enthusiasm for years I settle in for some Boxing Day NFL.

I miss most of KC vs Pittsburgh but catch enough to come up with this petty thing that gives me the shits

Seriously, saw a guy get penalised for standing over an opponent and giving him the double thumbs down. That's all.

Here's another one. This one cost Flowers $10,927. The NRL cunova Winger list will be shaking in their boots

Apparently. Seems to be a part of NFLs plan to improve sportsmanship.

I haven't been able to warm to the Australian cricket team for a few years now.
But I'll tune in to watch him.
Hopefully he's the start of a changing of the guard and enough to get my interest levels back up.

Couldn’t agree more - my interest level with the current captain is at an all time low. But taking most of Boxing Day cruising between the Tele and the ocean was incredibly satisfying.
Ashes next summer is almost exciting

Agreed on al fronts.
It's not just Cummins, though.
Pretty much the entire squad are "meh" for me.
There's just no one with any kind of personality.

That's what I like about Konstas.
Not just the talent, but he's just a kid out there having fun, playing shots and doing it with a smile on his face.
And not a hint of arrogance about him.

Love him.

As an aside, I hope Fitz is paying attention.
I've had in the back of my mind the past few days a quote from a Greg Chappell article on Konstas. Something like "ignore youth at your peril".
The premise being, don't be afraid to pick a youngster when they are talented enough, and really coming into their prime. It can be transformative for your team.

I feel this with Ison and Stonestreet.
Get 'em both in.
