Meetings.

I've spent 17 hours in meetings so far this week, and have another 3 hours scheduled for tomorrow (so far).

Most of the meetings are stakeholders asking me when I can deliver the work they've asked me to do in the previous meeting.

I dunno, dipshits.
Keep disrupting my work - never.

My rule is if you don’t provide an agenda in the invite and include clear outcomes desired by the end of the meeting that help me decide if I need to be there I’m declining.

Oh I do have a meeting this thursday arvo. The local Art Gallery Members meeting. I am a very important cog in that organization.

This is my entire working life….. meeting after meeting after meeting, scrambling in the first five minutes of each meeting to find the actions from the last meeting on the same subject to see if somehow I’ve managed to miraculously tick some of them off (by luck rather than judgement), and working out what bullshit can be said to justify the actions that haven’t been completed….
