i think manning comes back, and i think he comes back a shadow of his former self, which will be really sad

id love to see manning back at his best, but short of that, id prefer to see him retire than sully his reputation with a bad 2 year stint with another side

I fear this IF he comes back too mate. Tough one for all involved. He is in the HOF if he retires. I hope the competitor in him doesn't get the better of him in the decision making process and he makes a decision that will be in the best interests first and foremost for his health as well his legacy (a distant second).

Couldn't agree more. And their are teams who will gamble on signing him and hope for the best even if he doesn't completely pass the tests.

So many mixed reports, but it's mostly conjecture as to weather or not the nerves eventually heal enough to be an effective passer. Which apparently he's not at the moment.

latest report says mannings arm is a noodle at the moment

not great

:( Yeah. It's a tough story to read and hear about every other day as a NFL fan. The man lit up my Browns routinely though he is just one of the "other" guys you have nothing but respect for knowing he is going to be spoken about as one of the greatest players ever.
