They are hitting form again. Jackson should cop at least a week for the chicken wing. If we can control the pommy biter we should get them.

Hopefully our week off should give the boys a chance to freshen up and prepare well. I just hope they can keep it together for another 80 minutes of footy.

the key is matching them in those first 15 minutes .The will try to roll over us in that time.Manly also where lost at dummy half. There experiment with horo there failed badly. It will be a tough game but we can win it.
Also would be good to knock pritchard out of the semi finals

Dogs pack can smash ours. But we have the edge everywhere else. If our pack can match it, we should win.

Dogs pack very good but think they are vulnerable in defense. Manly looked to have Canterbury there. should be a cracker next week, just hope both sets of fans turn up for this one.

Frank looks REALLY unfit. Hodkinson must be doubtful and Jackson has a date with the review panel. Yet still we are outsiders.

We play best as underdogs.

We can beat the Dogs if our pack can more or less match them. Confident we can get them out wide.

Can the Dogs go with a team who will go for 80 minutes at their best??
If they can good luck to them because that's what it will take. We're the only side who can do it.

That's the key Maple, play the full 80. Ivan has been pretty good at getting the team prepared to do that.

Well we beat the dogs last time with a mansour try and moylan conversion. Hopefully we beat them by more this time.

The Dogs have beaten two vastly weakened teams who were without key players from Manly tonight, and Melbourne the week before.

The Dogs will be living in a fools paradise if they think they have a hope in hell against a performing unit that beat one of the premiership favourites in the Roosters.

The class difference will be on show next Saturday.

So I'm tipping it'll be a Penrith Panthers V South Sydney Grand Final.

If we don't win it,I can't begrudge the long suffering Souths supporters.

Those poor bastaerds have been waiting longer than the last ice age for a lap of honour.

Manly have that knack of getting us in important games,so I'm relieved.

And the Dog side,I see a lot less experience as you could see that when Manly piled on the pressure, the Dogs started backpeddling.

The second half was won by Manly 12-2 which says to me that they are a wilting team when put under sufficient pressure.

No...I can't see the Dogs even getting anywhere near Penrith next week.

And no,this isn't bias thinking,it's an observation. An observation everyone will have noted.

The Bulldogs are stronger then when we played last. We are weaker. We scraped in wins both times this year with a but of luck.

This game isn't a gifted win. Not even close. We will need to be good for 80 minutes or we will lose. We can't run in tries quickly to buy us a 20 minute napping period to still win. not that I would want us to win that way. Much prefer a solid 80 minutes over a great 60 minutes and awful 20 minutes.

Bulldogs will come into this game knowing we beat them twice, by small margins and that they need a great 80 minute performance to make the grand final. We need to be prepared for them to do that.

I was at Alliance last night for the Dogs and Manly game, Dogs intensity early was good but there were periods of the Manly come back when the Dogs fans went very quiet indeed.Dogs team do feed off crowd support more then I thought. Just hope we have lots of Panthers support this week. Should be a cracker if we do.

Between our first prelim in a decade and being the bandwagon of choice for every neutral, we should have as much support as the Dogs I think.

We are a much better side than our first win over them and were dominating the second game before 3 guys went off. It'll certainly be a game but I'm confident.

I'm also confident simply because we are playing better constructive and clinical football.

After watching both Manly and the Dogs,I wasn't convinced that they are not at the level as the other top three clubs.

Good luck guys. I really want to see you win.

Penrith are playing a very exciting brand of football. Ivan Cleary has done an excellent job.
Soward is leading you guys well on the field.

This won't be easy. Everyone talks about Ennis being a niggler but we have our own under the radar niggler hooker as well. I wonder if he will turn it up this week.

In any case we want a strong showing, and hopefully a win so I can give it to my dogs fan mate. Oh and hopefully not too many injuries, thanks.
