f**ken hell... people are having a go at Phil Gould...
Yeah, because he's a twit.

he had nothing to do with this loss... the fact of the matter is theres a real big chance that Eels are going to get the spoon...
Nobody's saying that he did and if Parra do get the spoon it wont be his fault either.

the bloody idiots released a classy halfback for no bloody reason... interesting how long he was on the open market... how long??? 2 days?? the Melbourne coaching staff(who also coach NSW & NZ)obviously see quality to snap him up that quickly
Brett Finch left because he was told that a with the way he was playing there was no future for him at Parramatta. Rather than gritting his teeth, staying at the club and proving everyone wrong, he spat the dummy and quit because he didn't feel loved anymore. The Storm are paying Finch next to nothing and he'll probably go quite well because he's playing alongside a dominant half.

as Parra is going to find out.. solid halfbacks are very tough to find these days... just ask the Tim Sheens who has Benji Marshall at halfback... The Warriors who have brought Stacey Jones back from retirement... the Dragons who have Hornby at Half.... and theres a heap of others around...
You're right, solid halfbacks are hard to find, but there are heaps of average ones.

you treat these players like gold because its bloody tough to get another one...
How's Michael Witt going for the Warriors these days... Oh, that's right.

Gus also said Finch was sitting back now with a big grin on his face, knowing that he has signed with a team who has a chance of winning the premiership. He's right in a way, Finch has won out of all of this. But for the long term, definately better for us......I hope.:sarcasm: Maybe Finch will lose it for Melbourne, but if he plays like crap they won't keep him around for long.

LOL - Finch will be playing behind a very average forward pack in Melbourne ....once again outplayed tonight .....he'll fall to pieces at number 6 if Melbourne keep getting dominated .......

Melbourne are nowhere near the side they once were, might have something to do with the 2 refs cleaning up the play the ball.

Definitely , plus they've also lost a lot of talent ....guys like Crocker , Kaufusi and Jeremy Smith in the forwards have been replaced with guys like Tolman and Blair ....they are struggling big time ......
