I just love how Rothfield compares Parra to his Giants. Parra have been caught out cheating the salary cap, while the Giants get given every leg up the AFL can dream of to give them a premiership.

:lol::lol: Chief NRL journalist?? Yet goes to an AFL game instead of another game next door.

Even worse with that article, the pic shows a Giants fan in Canberra rather than show a half empty ground at Spotless, and also states he decided not to attend the Parramatta game at ANZ, considering Parramatta played on Monday night at Parramatta. Which shows you how much the Victorians know bugger all about NRL.

He was given a column in Big League but the last couple I don't think he had written anything. I'll double check. He's a fool though. I can't find anyone that actually thinks he's anything more than a shit fly.

The should be classified as an Anti-RL jouno.

He bags a RL 9,000 crowd likes it's the worst thing ever.

GWS get 9,000 (allegedly) and they are all of a sudden taking over. Rothfield should have done an article on crowd-fudging and GWS's lack of support, but no...

He did the same type of puff piece crap with the Wanderers. Used them to say rugby league is dying.

He is an anti-rugby league muckraker.

The saying goes "There's no fool like an old fool" and he's certainly one of them.
The old fool needs to realise that nobody take's him seriously in Rugby League. He's a clown, somebody people laugh at. He should be in the circus.
He's not the man Rugby League fears, but the man Rugby League laughs at.

Liverpool fc had a successful long running boycott of another news ltd rag- the Sun in the UK. Only a similar boycott by league fans will acheive anything that they will notice. Otherwise it will be the same old crap for now and forever from rothfield and his type.

I'm with you all te way on this.
Untill News Ltd starts getting positive about our game we should just boycott it.
Its shame we done a deal with Fox sports news in my opinion.
