See some of the comments on there, some of them have got to be Terrorgraph/AFL shills. the classic "I used to support rugby league for X years and now it's boring blah blah blah, I think I'm going to try AFL now." -no one says that.

That is the most blatant paid advertisement I have ever read. Sickening.

He had to mention the crowd from Campbelltown cripple fight the day before to make a lame point.

He'll go on Melboutne radio now and say RL is under threat from GWS.

The guy is a shitstain of a journalist.

Could you imagine an AFL journo doing a piece on the Storm like that?

if you try and comment saying the opposite it never gets through

they only allow comments that fit their agenda

Arent they meant to be a premiership threat or at least a shot at the finals?

That crowd of 9,000 seems lower than other seasons where they've been at the bottom.

So 9,000 is acceptable these days in the AFL?

I shouldn't be surprised really. Now that Cronulla's on top, other teams in the NRL are non existed.

and his head honcho here in Aus said they would be using their papers to shove AFL down our throats

News Corp chief executive Robert Thomson also sent a warning to the NRL by declaring the company would do everything it could to help AFL's expansion into league's heartland.

"We will ensure that more people see more games of football and its reach is extended, particularly in NSW and Queensland, where there is obviously a growth opportunity and there is a growth opportunity because this is just a wonderful game," Thomson said.

Rothfield and DUI were calling GWS a waste of time 2 years ago.

This was back when their crowds were..well...the same as they are now.

Ha ha good point, there were perhaps 9000 legs there yesterday. I was at the dogs game and the blue and white outnumbered that dirty orange a hundredfold. Listening to triple M it seems every few seconds there's a quick "get out to see the most exciting team" or "there's a giant in all of us" I hope the AFL are paying through their ass for this.
