Ex-StGeorge fans?? Drrragons

What not simple enough for you ?

weren't you the forummer 4 Corners who I said had the smell of goangod about him?

Relevance?

But I suggest you stop complaining 'like a girl' and accept that some of us... indeed some the greatest supporters you could ever hope to come to across, still call them 'St George' - get used to it because we're not going away.

Obviously during you bout of self righteous bias, you have skipped the real essence and attack during this thread and once again proven how arrogant you dinosaurs are!
 You mean as opposed to your self-righteous and arrogant bias...?

I support the contribution of the Illawarra... and the unquestionable history of St George. Next you'll be telling us that you're a 'true supporter'.

btw, you cut out half of my post when trying to make some point... the part where I spoke up for Illawarra. You obviously like to come in here and look for a fight. Join the queue.

Here's a brick wall to bang your head agains DRRRAGONS, it'll be less painful than what you're hoping to achieve.

I love all this talk about history and tradition (and I love what the Dragons have stood for and achieved in the past... the greatest rugby league club EVER!!!), however what has this history and tradition done for us lately?

We sound like a bunch of children bickering over who's new t-shirt looks the best.

No-one is forcing anyone to support the Joint Venture.

No-one is forcing anyone to buy a jersey.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE JOINT VENTURE THEN GO FOLLOW THE SHARKS!

This continual "mine's better than yours" argument proves nothing and achieves even less.

By God I hope the Dragons win a premiership soon, then maybe we will all be able to rejoice in the team that we have now! Otherwise we'll one day be sitting with our grandchildren showing them old black and white photos of when the Dragons were strong and unified.

Sorry Willow, I've nothing against you or anyone (myself included) who loves what St George was. But surely we need to realise that the face of sport has changed and that the only way the Dragons were going to survive was to either get a rich sugar daddy like some other clubs, relocate interstate or form a joint venture.

I can hear the knives being sharpened, so I'll turn around to give you a clear shot at my back.

I suggested it on Buzz Bhoys DAF before being forcibly exiled

Never one to let facts ruin a good story are you Denis?

You know why you were banned, and it wasn't because of anything to do with rugby league.

To everyone (yes, even you Denis) hope you all have a joyous and safe Easter.

From someone who supports Greg Bird even though 90% of your mates are calling you a dill.
LOL. I've lost count if the amount fights I've had to break up in that Sharks forum. We might a clown here, but you guys have the full ring circus.

If you support the contribution of Illawarra, why are you even in this argument? Surely you would understand comments like "shit on it and burn it" when refering to the Steelers jeresy is bound to rile supporters.

Where did I back the comment: "shit on it and burn it"?

Trying to put words into my mouth is poor form at the best times. Quite clearly, you know very little about what I think on the subject.

I'll let you work out while I'm in the argument.

Where did I say you did?
I was merely pointing out that all I am doing is defending the club I have followed all my life from slander and for some reason you attacked me?

I think im gonna migrate to the DAF permanently. I made this post in the hope that we could have sensible discussion, hear each others opinions and come to a sensible outcome as to the jersey. Obviously this board is full of adolescent, closed minded tossers.

Buzz hit it on the head, if you havnt accepted the JV by now, go support the scum.

There are alot of people who had disliked Birdy for the past year or so, so the incident was the straw that broke the camels back. He's my favourite player and like I could give a rats arse about what others think about him, I wont stop supporting him.

As for the fights in the Sharks forum, yeah, no shit! Its a madhouse, but its fun!! These Steeler-Saints arguments are just downright hilarious!

Dragon, if you want to turn this into a 'best forum' debate, and you think this is something worth bringing into the discussion, then you're welcomed to pull up stumps. I never had much time for petty forum rilvaries.

As for the 'go support the scum' comment, the less said the better.

For the record, I embrace the join venture as per the understanding we had when it came into being. With 50/50 home games and the continuation of history with the next premiership being number 16. What I didnt support was the moving of the goal posts after the agreement was made. Some things have been corrected but there's still some work to do.

You said, "Surely you would understand comments like "sh*t on it and burn it" when refering to the Steelers jeresy is bound to rile supporters." and I pointed out that I would never suggest that. You didnt say this now?

What you have failed to understand is that people are entitled to their view.
I support a team which plays out of Kogarah and Wollongong and I happen to call them St George - and am proud to do so... why? Because I always have.
If that makes me dinosaur, then so be it. But I think you'll find that its a small issue compared to the real progress can be made if some folk would simply cease with the mindless and short sighted pigeon holing.

As for you being attacked, I wasn't aware of that. But at the very least, pot meet kettle.

Willow,

I just wanted to say that I never intended this to become a 'best forum' debate, DAF is a Premier League forum compared to LU and the other mob.

Cheers,

Buzz

I know that Buzz. The more Saints sites the merrier - I've always thought that and I understand you do as well. Cheers. :D

What are you on about?

I never said why I was booted just that I was. Seems like you're the one who wont let facts get in the way of a silly jibe.

I didn't think political differences where a banning offence but then again you are the guy who locked a thread over at rleague informing people of a picket down Arncliffe way.

Seems I was right about Iraq though. That was months ago but all I predicted has come to fruition. Maybe I should become an analyst?

No, that's simply not true.

In fact it's a complete load of bollocks.
