I don't think we would pick 6 middles, especially when you want Jake and Yeo playing big minutes, and Haas and Paulo are fairly high minute players themselves.
Cam Murray is ahead of Nrown as well, and I would pick RCG ahead of him too

TBH I think thats a fair team

I think Critchton is a chance due to other injuries and lack of footy. Latrell might get the nod but he is actually a lazy merkin. I reckon Lomax was the best centre until he broke his hand.

Liam Martin is a smokey, but a fair one given the lack of edge forwards. Is rooster Crichton suspended? Frizell is a bit off of late

Crichton (Angus) is fighting his charge. Out of origin (2 weeks suspension) if he loses.

I’m hearing plenty of commentary saying that Burton and Schuster shoukd be picked for game 1. We’ve come a long way from Laurie Daly’s selection criteria that you need to have played in a GF or rep footy before you even get your foot in the door.

Burton's been electric. But who doesn't look bad at Penrith tbh? Schuster is an amazing talent

Grant has declared today he is fine for origin and if storm had a game later in the weekend instead of tonight he’d have played.

If Grant is fit I don’t see Mahoney making the team. I know they’ll name a squad initially, but he doesn’t have utility value like Hunt offers

apparently 18th man (a potential for Gutho) won’t be allowed to return to play for club teams this year as they will get full match payment regardless of if they make the field or not, so must stay in camp

I would say thats rubbish from the NRL. especially being 18th man why should clubs suffer if he might not play and not in 17.

But considering the high tackles and concussions atm. The 18th man will probably be required

Its a long year, We have seen in years past the top Broncos sides, and even Storm sides , many times falter back end of the year due to Origin fatigue (uncle Wayne regularly used to use it as an excuse, he had a point)
