Gordon up to PL ahead of Jon Wright is just silly.

None of the U19 reps named.

Campbell gets a run after a few games in the local comp after his injury.

The team is just about the youngest we have put on the field this year. It is more like our 'traditional' PL sides with an average age in the early 20's.

your right it is a very young team.

do you think campbell will impress? i have seen a few of his games (mostly from last year) and he was ok in a couple.

also how is it that they have still names mullen on the bench for FG but yet every other under 19 rep isn't playing this week?? Does anyone know if they are changing the first grade bench?

They must figure Mullen has a bit more fitness than the other guys. He backed up last year after a rep game as well. I doubt they will change the first grade line-up. As far as the lower grade guys go, they prob saw that as an oportunity to give guys like Campbell a run back here. Much like we were saying in the other thread, about the premier league side being so unsettled.

why pull more guys out of the flegg side, when they are such a good chance at winning the title this year?

Vaughan must've really upset someone, not to be able to get in the side, I was tipping he'd make first grade this year. The couple of games I've seen Steele play I thought he went well. Pretty sure it was him that was on the end of a brilliant try some weeks ago that Hinton handled twice in and threw the final pass, one of the best I've seen this season.

well they have got to get experience some how!! they should be rewarded for winning. its a bit of a kick in the teeth for them for playing so well then having steele and grant ahead of them!! IMO

i think they would love to have a chane of playing FG, but i really think they would rather stay in flegg rather than be in the PL side and get flogged

Didn't realise this guy (Terry Campese) was still around, he was going to be a world beater a few years ago. Hard to understand why Ale can't get a start in Premmy, in fact I would've thought he'd be a strong showing of first grade at the Raiders. He was a try scoring machine at the Roosters two years ago. Canberra seems to be a graveyard for promising young players. Even Tilse looks to be struggling to get in the team
