I think I'm finding myself yelling at the refs more often than I would like, but never at the players. Well, I do yell at the players, but definitely not in a negative fashion :)

Water off a duck's back Pete, I think he was just having a joke.

Hope so PG, hope so. I am a grandfather of three, and the sort of behaviour that he was referring to is something I abhor.
Could you imagine how you would feel if the watcher in Bay 48..was your daughter, grand daughter, girl friend, sister or wife!!!!

I have to say that the supporters in the Northern End made me proud to be an Eel last night. I have never witnessed so many , encouraging so loud and for so long in a game we were losing and as we all know lost. I heard nothing but enthusiasm and support all night. To all who joined in truely supporting our team I thankyou, especially those that got their chant sheets out and joined in with The Swarm in the Northern end.

Exactly. She's a blight on the Eels Community.

I'll be the first to admit that watching and supporting our team at the moment is extremely frustrating but the bahavior of a minority of people at the ground makes me sad.

The majority of the negativity is such poor judgement and extremely uneducated.

Me personally I call these people "Fans".

But us "Supporters" will continue to do just that SUPPORT!!

Anyone else have the pleasure in sitting near the young lady (and I use that term loosely) who is a member in bay 48? You can't miss her if you do....

Seriously we're tossing up taking an exercise book and writing down some of her gems.

"Pass the ball you f**king piece of sh*t"

"Hayne you piece of sh*t, just run straight, don't do your step"

She also abuses players when they leave the field injured, and is starting to ruin the experience for the members that sit around her I'm sure.

Does anyone tell her to shut up?

Nothing worse than listening to fowled mouthed, know nothings.

How long has she been in those seats?

Maybe you could advise the club of this behaviour and they could cancel her membership.

Pete, Lingard and suity will probably vouch for this, but as a pup, i distinctly remember the cumberland oval crowd in the late 70's being extremely abusive at times to our players if they were precieved to be not putting in..

Parra fans have traditionaly been hard task masters, especially to the new boys who needed to prove themselves to the cumberland crowd.

If it keeps going Micky, it'll happen. Can't see it stopping.

Might bring a sock for her next week...

Mud, beer cans used to fly. BUT from memory it was at the referees, and opposition.
Had to instal barbed wire. Foul language was not the norm in those times.
Never YELLED out words like Fxxx or Cxxxs. I think it is sad that it happens now...but I guess that's the way Society is now.
