Alright, so that's why in his only first grade appearance this year he made 5 tackles and missed 3? The guy can't tackle at all, sure you've seen one game where he made a few good tackles, but I've seen games where Chris Walker has had good positional defense. Those are the rarity, for the most part, this guy couldn't tackle a bag let alone an opposition player.

Sprinters shouldn't play rugby league. Sure he's quick, but he's got the Blacklock disease, lets in as many as he scores.

What about Mike Cleary and Kevin Irvine? Mike was a Commonwealth Game Gold MEdalist for 100m sprints and didnt many try saving tackles into touch and Kevin Irvine was also a highly acclaimed sprinter and boy he could tackle. Then theres Shane Wherret who was also an ahtlete and could tackle.

I hate to be pedantic but it is KEN Irvine - only the greatest try scorer ever in Aussie league. Sprinters do have a place in the game, just like the little guys. There's nothing a big forward loves more than to see a super quick guy streaking away to score after capitalising on some good go forward from the pigs.

Alright I'll rephrase it then, 72kg sprinters who can't tackle shouldn't play rugby league. Sure there have been some great quick little guys who can tackle, but that's besides the point. Joven Clarke can't. He can run, and that's it. That's all he has. As someone said before, if he was really that good, he'd be playing first grade somewhere next year.

And as a Parramatta fan, I know for sure that Shane Whereat can't tackle. He was very average at best.

I haven't looked at many of the ability scores, but I know that Lockyer has a 7 for fitness - he should have a 10. Hindmarsh also has a low fitness rating.
I would disagree here why a 10? - the guy makes 4 tackles per match -real games.
Suggest moving Lockyer to number 6 fulltime and all the QLD fans say he will have nothing left to attack with as he will be ran at all day and would have to tackle.
I think 7 is more than fair - no fullback should be more than 5 IMO.
Fitness is something the forwards have not pussy 4 tackles per game fullbacks!!!!!
Hmmm...I can't actually see the link between the amount of tackles made per game and a player's fitness.
Well, fair enough. I do, tackling is the most energy sapping thing a player does in a match. Hmmm... I see props get a rest because they are not fit, not because they do all the freakin work. You were a back were you? How many teams that make the most tackles win the match? In fact I would say it has the most influence.

Lockyer is one of the fittest players in the NRL.
   Do please tell how have you come to this conclusion?? I dispute it, I am not saying he is unfit, but one the of the fittest? When does he fitness even get tested?

By the way, the reason he makes only 4 tackles per match is because he only needs to do 4 tackles per match.
He is a fit as he needs to be, but if you play him in the frontline and make him do 30 tackles, appartently he becomes a little short of breath, like most backs.

My main point was they (the game makers) got it right. Forwards are generally 'fitter' than nancy pancy tackle shy backs.

I'm gonna take all of this feedback into account and edit some of the poorer player stats that should be different.

why are some people ''black'' in the game when they are ''white'' in real life eg: willi mason since when is he dark

Willie Mason is Tongan (??) and definitely dark so I don't see what your problem is. On the whole the problem is the other way around- too many guys who are dark in real life look white in the game (Isn't the name "Timana Tahu" a bit of a giveaway that the guy isn't Anglo Saxon, for instance?)

Lockyer is a pretty ordinary catcher, if you actually watch him play and dont listen to the hype you will see that for yourself. His other skills make people overlook his poor handling, especially when there is pressure on him.
