Any player that has so far been labelled as the next $BW. There's been a few of them.
You can probably say the same for all the next Wendell Sailor's/Lote Tuqiri's. We've had a few look good for a year or so, but none really stood the test of time.

You mention Braith. He's a damned fine player, but no-one could possibly live up to the predictions of greatness heaped on him as a rookie. And I don't believe I've ever seen another player cop so much unfair and excessive criticism over such a long period (seems to have stopped these days, thankfully).
