Terry Randall started off in the centres for Manly then went to the front row or second row. I'm quite sure he played lock a few times as well.

Played hooker at the Roosters in Jersey Flegg and killed it that year. I honestly thought watching him then he was a sure thing to play First Grade.

But there's not much difference between playing on the wing, centre or edge-forward. Some full-backs could play at outside-halfback, as J Hayne has done. And many edge-forwards go into the middle; granted usually playing more like a loose-forward though.

He was an outside-halfback until about 17 years of age wasn't he? And I assume John Dixon (coached in Wales for a few yrs) and the Bronx didn't think he was good enough to play 1st grade.

Gallen has played 6, 13, 9 and 10 for the Sharks through the years. Feki came through as a centre but has never played there at NRL level

No. He was fly half at St Laurence's College and played rugby union at Sunnybank I believe in the same position. The one season of league he played as a junior was at U14s at Souths Acacia and was in the 6.
