Rodgers dismantles the overhyped Eagles. I just knew I errored in selecting the Eagles as I had a feeling Rodgers was going to step it up and really challenge the top echelon this playoff series. I said as much in my prediction and whilst he didn't win this on his own, he was the star. I believe the Packers will now go on to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl vs Steelers/Pats.

Another NFL season, another regular season of hope once more gone in 60 minutes of football in the playoffs. If we were going to tag any team of the modern era chokers, Philly might just be the team to wear the tag. This was their chance to finally go to the Super Bowl and they let it slip through their fingers. Reid cannot get it done when it matters. I mean, I know how it feels being a Colts fan, though in what has been a weaker conference (IMO) for a while now, Reid and his team have continually disappointed. It must be frustrating for long time Philly fans.

Congrats to Green Bay!

Pretty impressive showing by Baltimore. No upset there. They set up a potentially great one next week vs the Steelers. I cannot wait for that one.

andy reid can put a football team together very well, but when it comes to running the thing on the day he's a disaster.

he'd be a good general manager.

that aside, this has gotta rank as one of the most disappointing eagles postseason failures under reid.

the d doesnt have the spread of talent it once had (and it doesnt have the late jim johnson calling the plays anymore), but this might have been his best offense of reid's tenure.

andy's done more with less in the past (mcnabb carried some of those attacks on his back), so to collapse in such spectacular fashion and go out in the wild card round has got to be so bitterly disappointing (taking nothing away from the packers)

Did anyone honestly think that banged up D was going to be able to stop one of the best QB's in the league? That D has been playing out of it's skin the last couple of weeks, and frankly i'm surprised they kept the Packers to what that did. If anything, this year's injury toll has shown the Eagles office just what they have in terms of depth of talent on their Defence, Beware the Eagles D for next year, They can only get better and healthier from here.

Eagles D just need to start how they finish. There's a couple rookies who are starters so they'll only get better. If anything, the OL have been terrible numerous times this season incapable of picking up the blitz. Bears did it, Giants did it, Vikings did it and now Packers. One positive from this is LeSean McCoy is turning out to be a decent blocker.

We beat ourselves with silly mistakes. Credit to the packers they played well and had a good plan but when you lose a game by 5 points with two missed field goals that akers would usually nail, and a failed two point conversion on a dumb penalty, well you got no one to blame but yourself.

Our o line is horrible and our secondary was too banged up down the stretch. We need major upgrades along the line and we need up grades at the mike and will lb, Chaney might be good long term in the mike but simms blows chunks. We also need to upgrade cb, asomougha is a free agent and we need to get him.

We've got some holes to fill but with a good draft and free agency and we will be a much better team next year. We had a chance this year, and in that game, your only as strong as you biggest weakness and at the end of the day, we weren't good enough.

I'm more philosophical about it today, was gutted yesterday.

I think this was probably Philly's best chance to get a SB ring, it's hard to imagine Vick having this sort of form again and opposition D not being prepared.
Thing is as much as I hate the Eagles, they very much lost this game themselves.
