so was it another choke for Manning? Manning played ok, but i remember a few in here called Bradys lost SB a choke, even though it was obvious it wasn't on him, await the responses, shall be interesting....

I thought the Jets would win this, one side i'd hate to come up against in the playoffs, can beat anyone on there day, and the scary thing Sanchez was sh*t house, will be interesting gam enext week...

Well I ain't part of the brigade who called Brady a choker. So I will leave that to the "others".

To answer your question, no, it wasn't a Manning choke. He posted a QBR of 108.7 and did what he could to win this game. He was better in the 1st half where he was given a mere 3 possessions in the 2nd half, scored on all 3 including what should've been the GWer. Peyton starting at his own 20 and drove the Colts downfield against the 3rd best defense in football, throwing a catchable ball on 3rd down that results in a drop, and setting up Vinatieri.

The Colts have had the worst starting field position in football for years now and they consistently give up yards on punt/kick returns as well. It killed them today, it killed them against SD in the Playoffs a couple years ago. You simply can not allow that stuff to happen if you want to win in the Playoffs. You can get by with it in the regular season, but not in January. Add a decent running game to that as well. The Jets pounded us with their one-two punch and controlled the ball resulting in having posession for 6 minutes longer than us. Well played Coach Ryan from where I sit.

Bring on next season, again, I cannot go past one of either Pittsburgh or New England to win the Super Bowl. I lean toward the Tom Brady led Pats though a Roethlisberger led Steerlers team is equally good. It will take a great team to beat either and I'd be surprised if one or the other were not in the Super Bowl for the AFC.

Manning made lesser RB's look better than what they were. Bush in a Manning led offense would be effective. Time will tell. I ain't exactly HIGH on the thought. I believe we need a legit franchise back to help balance the offense. Manning threw too much in 2010.

Where has that been the whole time you were in Buffalo Lynch. ffs.

I have your Buffalo jersey...Now I've bought Spillers...seems every Bills RB jersey I buy is cursed.

PS I think Jets can beat the Pats.

A lot of young guys on defense for the Pats...never know if they'll turn up when the pressure is on...I think it'll be a shoot out.

Fair enough question. I thought he was going to come right in to the NFL and be a stud RB.

As for the Jets, you never know. They will live and die with their offense though. If Sanchez can limit his turnovers, his defense and running game can win football games in the playoffs. I just don't think Brady and the Pats at home (outside too) will let them remain in the game for as long as we allowed them today.

I dont think that Reggie fits in with what the Colts do.
They need a guy who can run between the tackles, pick up the blitz as well as receive out of the backfield... tbh, if Jermone Harrison doesnt come back to Philly next year, if i were the colts, he's the guy id go for. He's come on a lower price tag too. Reggie will still want decent money.

I don't want Reggie though he DOES fit in to what we do though what we do ain't as effective as having a genuine every down back that can give us 1200+ yards on the ground. Prior to this season, our RB's were heavily involved in the passing game as a general rule of thumb. Bush would be effective, perhaps better than what we have, though I am not sure he would be any more effective than what he has done with the New Orleans Saints.

I just dont think he can run between the tackles effectively enough to suit the colts, Peyton will audible to what ever he sees, if he wants Bush to go between the tackles, he's f**ked. His blitz pick up can be found wanting at times too. Manning needs to know who ever is there, he can trust.
He's great going around the line, and in the pass game and screen game. But i think the Colts need a new Addai, who can work in the pass/screen game, can break it on the outside but is tough enough to go up the guts. Bush cant do that imo.

Donald Brown has shown flashes, im not sure they should go into next season and see what the kid has got. But as i said previously, i think Jermone Harrison is good enough to be starting in this league. He's just not as good as Shady McCoy

I don't think anybody in the NFL thinks he can.

Which is why for what i think would be considerably less, Jerome Harrison or even Ahmed Bradshaw is where they should be looking, not Reggie Bush. Bush is flashy, the colts dont need flashy at RB. They need effective, in all aspects of the tail back position.
