Jets win. Colts special teams and defence let them down at the end.
Special teams with that be run back and defence not being able to get a stop.

Great game though. And last years superbowl teams are eliminated after the first day of the playoffs.

Jets earned it though, Colts a bit unlucky but the Jets came through in the clutch

Well thee Jets played smarter in the 2nd half and stayed with their strengths - their D and running game. Sanchez didn't turn it over in the 2nd and a veteran RB wound back the clock to pull his team to victory.

Congrats to the Jets. A season of frustration ends for us. We will be better for it next season. I can't see the Jets beating anyone else in the NFL playoffs, though the win today on the road certainly confirms they deserve to be there next week and not us. How I long for a consistent running game that will stop a team like the Jets sitting in a Cover 2. We need to address this. Addai is serviceable, though he needs some help back there. Tomlinson and Greene rushed for 150+ yards and two TDs, Addai and Rhodes had 93 yards with Rhodes averaging just over 2 ypc. Not good enough.

One big upset in the Seattle win and depending on your view point, another upset here. Is it a sign of things to come? I like the Chiefs in an upset. Time will tell.

Jets beating the Colts wasn't an upset for me. Was hoping the colts would win, but not surprised by the loss.

Hard to see the Jets beating the Patriots, but who knows?

Actually, looking at their away record, perhaps it isn't that big an "upset" if it is an upset at all. The Jets were good away from home, hell, they even won at Pittsburgh and excusing the 45-3 blip against NE, they proved they could travel. Oh well.

I cannot see the Jets D stopping a Brady led Pats offense that has so many options. Hell no. The Pats or Steelers are winning the Super Bowl.

onto tommorrow's matches, some terrible news for raven safety ed reed

ST. ROSE, La. (AP) -- Family members say they believe a brother of Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed is the man who jumped into the Mississippi River as he ran from police.
Karen Reed says investigators found 28-year-old Brian Reed's shoes and jacket. She is the mother of Ed and Brian Reed.
Karen Reed also says the car the man ran from belonged to another brother.
Sgt. Dwayne LaGrange of the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office said authorities were unable to identify the man who jumped in the river. He says the man had jumped into the river around 10 a.m. Friday when a deputy told him to put his hands behind his back.
LaGrange says the deputy had spotted the man with a parked car that matched the description of a stolen vehicle.
Authorities have called off the search for the missing man.

Why do people hate the Jets so much? They're an exciting team, granted, Ryan has a big mouth but I instantly fell in love with the Jets when they beat the Pats and wiped the smug look off coach Bill's face!

So with the two teams out of the race today, at least both losses came with good feedback about drafting and improvement.
Saint's O-line and defense, and the Colts need a damn running game....I've been following the NFL for like 4 years....and the playcalling on defense for the Jets today was so freaking obvious!
Maybe they go for Reggie Bush??? Sproles? They need a quick elusive back.

Wow. Maybe you should be an Offensive Co-Ordinator for an NFL team :sarcasm: I mean, four years experience as an armchair NFL fan - GO FOR IT!

On a serious note, Reggie Bush's name has popped up as a possible Colts FA signing for next season.
