PNG logo design thread

What I'm noticing in my searching today, is that there doesn't seem to be one traditional, all-PNG-wide visual representation of what a PNG tribal chief looks like (no particular clothing, headdress, face paint, ect). They mostly all seem to have face paint, a headdress, ect, but all different styles, colours, and patterns. Making a logo of one style possibly alienates all the other however-many tribes there are there.

My thoughts are a simple 'C' in perhaps a shield shape, but decorated simply enough to be social media friendly, but unique enough to stand out. I don't have an opportunity to visually mockup what I'm talking about for the time being, but if I get a chance in the coming days I'll try to put something together. Kinda hard without a colour scheme, mind you..!

Yeah exactly. That's why I went with just Spears and shield too.

Im leaning more towards a coloured combination of a shied and spears with the silhouette of a chief/warrior in the background.

lol alienate. No one who loves RL in PNG is going to not follow the team because the logo doesn't have the right headdress.

Those tribe war each other. If the logo has the headdress of a tribe they are at war with.. it might not be " unifing" is the point.

Why not have the chief with a spear&shield and face paint in the colours of the PNG flag but no headwear ?

It's overthinking, just make a generic one then. Everyone is following this team regardless of logo
