This isn't a test match though, just a rep game! Australia should be playing png before the 4 nations as a warm up!

Huge crowd expected for PNG v PM's 13 rugby

Updated September 23, 2011 10:04:16
At least ten thousand supporters are expected to turn up in Lae PNG for the PM's 13 rugby league match on Sunday.

The PNG Rugby Football League chose Lae so the people of the Highlands and Momase regions could see the international match between an Australian select side pit their skills against the PNG national side. The stadium in Lae will be at capacity and authorities are concerned that crowd control may be an issue if fans invade the ground to get close to their heros.

The match is also being used as an awareness campaign to 'Stop Violence against Women'.

Presenter: Geraldine Coutts
Speaker: Ivan Ravu, interim General Manager PNG Rugby Football League
