Could you imagine if the whole PNG side were signed to NRL - under 20s and NSW Qld Cup contracts - given time and likely not much you would have a fairly competitive international side.

i could also imagine the ARL waving SoO & kangaroos jerseys at them claiming they are 'products' of the australian system...

Inglis will be there but as fullback...
Prince was red hot this season

Inglis won't be at fullback, they will keep the Melbourne combinations. Prince has been good, but he hasn't played in 6 weeks and I don't count a game against PNG!). As I said, this will hurt his chances IMO. They will go with Cronk, and rightly so, as I think Cronk's kicking game, especially long kicking game is better. In a one off test you want combinations, and that is how the selectors will go!

.Michael Monaghan is the solution to any problem we have in the halves.Brett Stewart will be fullback.

a) Monaghan- won't be picked as he is going to the UK,

b) Stewart- In the mix, but I would say Bowen is a ahead at least. Depends who they put at 7 and 6 to be honest.

Huh? I am saying that playing in the NRL finals will be of higher weighting than playing in a PNG match. That is the way selectors see it!

Any side with Anasta at 6 has a big flaw..

A) he is hopeless in rep games

B) he is a lock

we havnt done it yet, im not saying the selectors wont try to do it, as they did with fui, but as it stands everybody who has played for aus first played rugby league as a kid in aus.
