I don't give a f**k what you want. You're just a hypocritical whinger with an entitlement complex.

Only a simpleton would be against Brisbane 3 and an advocate for a team In Perth. Perth is behind Brisbane 3 ov every metric that counts.. The only reason you want a team in Perth Is because you live there.

To be frank, an Englishman has no business telling Queenslanders and New South Welshmen how to run a game that is based out of Queensland and NSW. Go worry about the RFL's problems and quit telling Australians how to run a competition that's light years ahead of the Soapdodger League.
Clearly you do the amount of time you spend personally attacking me lol

Brisbane 3 can wait until the 20th licence if there's viable options available, such as NZ2. The Tigers said they're willing to wait for the 20th licence.

The awful TV ratings for AwFuL in Perth is a huge strike against the Perth bid.

With the Olympics coming to Brisbane in 2032, the next 9 years is the perfect opportunity to add a third team. Showcasing Brisbane to the world as a bonified rugby league city will be a huge boost to the game. Tourism to Brisbane is set to boost in the lead up to the Olympics. Saturating the market with three teams will help raise the game's profile.

Wasn't there talk of staging RL 9s as a demonstration sport at the Brisbane 2032 Olympics?

Exactly right.

You wouldn’t believe how many times I have been stopped when I have been in Asia, Americas and Europe by people asking me if I am from that state with 10 Rugby League sides in it.

Doesn't think rugby league can get any fans in Australian cities where afl is popular, but thinks it can be popular around the world because of Brisbane.

How do you explain this?

Metro Audiences

  • Sydney average 161,000
  • Melbourne average 12,000
  • Brisbane average 111,000
  • Adelaide average 7,000
  • Perth average 8,000

In Melbourne the Storm average 33,000, and when the Storm arent playing the NRL averages 8,000.

In Brisbane, the Broncos average 170,000, the Dolphins average 126,000. Other Queensland regional teams average 131,000 on Nine, while matches involving no Queensland sides average 98,000.

In NSW, Sydney sides average 163,000 per game, while sides from regional NSW average 163,000 as well. Matches with no teams from NSW average 146,000.

How exactly do you think rugby league is going to be impacted by having 3 teams in Brisbane when the olympics are held?

Schedule their home games before and after the Olympics. It's only a 2 week event.

So considering Suncorp is the main stadium for the Olympics, and there is no chance the IOC let NRL destroy the ground by playing 3 games a weekend there in the leadup, how does a 3rd team provide a huge boost to the game and showcase rugby league to the world?

Also, given 99% of the world has never heard of rugby league, why do you think the world would care about a "bonified rugby league city"?

Such little faith. People around the world will only start following rugby league as a sport and going to Brisbane as a destination when there are no less than three sides in that city.
