Youd think it will need to be more than $10mil a year. Nrl will want its slice of the pie. Its not going to bring a tv unfriendly club in worth virtually nothing and just give them $17mill a year out of the pot.
There is of course value in the 9th game content, and the big value driver of competition for the rights hopefully, but if people on here think Perth isnt favoured by Australian tv what do you think tv will be saying about PNG admission? Wheres the value to the NRL in this? Theyve been pretty consistent in wanting to see new clubs bring value to the whole comp.
