Perth could do with an upgrade, but it doesnt have to have it. Its 20,500 and has enough corporate options to be ok for first few years of our life. Of course a new west stand wouldn't go amiss as part of our Govt package!

PNG is too small, has few corporate suites and little cover. It NEEDS it before NRL is played there.
Nah it looks crap now

unless you plan on keeping half the ground empty and Cameras on two stands only

No it doesn't, and aesthetics are hardly an NRL ground criteria lol.
Capacity, facilities and corporate sales opportunities are all that matter. HBF is adequate in those areas. PNG is not.
When you've got the NRL ok'ing Dolphin's playing a third of their games at a sub standard stadium of 11k, HBF park really isnt an issue!

It might look better, arguable, but that doesnt pay the bills. It doesnt have capacity of a NRL stadium, it doesnt have the fans facilities and it doesnt have the corporate facilities. 3 of the stands look like scaffolding stand that NIB and NQ used to have before they built proper ones. It needs a shed load of work and so far no one has said that work is going to happen.

Its only 15k capacity, sell outs shouldnt be an issue or else the club there is in real trouble!

Not like this state of the art suburban ground, that you were defending moments ago.

V'landys should troll AwFuL by saying he's interested in adding the Bears as Brisbane's third NRL team. If the Lions and AwFuL threaten legal action then they'll come across as wankers.

The big question is would you follow the Logan bears? lol
If they were called Logan then I would follow them.

I'd love to see the Dolphins become the Moreton Bay Dolphins in honour of the Moreton Bay Settlement that led to the formation of Brisbane. I'd love to have a third Brisbane team on the south side named after Captain Patrick Logan because he discovered many of the localities south of the Brisbane River. There's a city, a road and numerous suburbs named after the man.

They couldn't really threaten them, the bears is already a brand name, and they'd drop the locale anyways just as the dolphins have...
And Brisbane already has teams in their city, i doubt the bears would get into the Brisbane market, before east tigers anyway...
