Don’t let albo steal his thunder!Png isn’t his idea
he was supporting Perth
albo is the one convincing him
I love it. Whether you like him or not, he’s so much more fun than Greenberg and provides so many talking points.Out of pistol Pete’s “ideas” it’s hard to know if pacifika 2025 or college football players was the more ludicrous, it’s been a fun week though lol
Really would be cool right.I like this idea. Although the logistics would be difficult lol
“Billy Moore says his organisation is happy to work with a Pasifika team, a New Zealand franchise or one based in Perth if it means their colours, logo and two home games a year in North Sydney are included in any expansion bids.”Nothing in that interview even comes close to contradicting what I've said. In fact it confirms most what I've said, and confirms a lot of my suspicions and fears for a Bears lead NRL side.
'We've got very few non-negotiables. We want our colours back, our badge, minimum 2 games at NSO, and we will fund the rest.'
'We'll go wherever the NRL wants us to to allow us to do what we want to do'
'Our colours, our badge, our history, and two games at NSO, which will be a financial bonanza for the game so we'll probably end up having more'
He's not saying that the Bears will give up their brand or agree to be a minority partner in a club, he's saying that so long as those non-negotiables, and the others he didn't mention but are out there, are met that the Bears are willing to base the team wherever the NRL likes to get back into the NRL. In other words, they'd still own and control the club, but the NRL would be free to dictate where it's based.
He didn't even mentioned or consider the possibility of partners or a merger, it was all about what 'we' (the Bears) will do.
BTW, it's at least 2 games at NSO this time, and he openly admitted that they have ambitions to play more than that at NSO in the future. Even mentioned that he'd like to play a game out of the CC in the future lol. That's a really bad mask slip from him, he must have got too caught up in the excitement of the game.
Where are these PVL 'quotes' BTW. They'll be gold if they're even half as self incriminating as that interview was lol.

Did you vote for albo ?Don’t let albo steal his thunder!
One game a year at NSO against Manly for Heritage round makes more sense.“Billy Moore says his organisation is happy to work with a Pasifika team, a New Zealand franchise or one based in Perth if it means their colours, logo and two home games a year in North Sydney are included in any expansion bids.”
No he didn’t he said the bears were happy to play in any of those locations, there’s a massive difference!“Billy Moore says his organisation is happy to work with a Pasifika team, a New Zealand franchise or one based in Perth if it means their colours, logo and two home games a year in North Sydney are included in any expansion bids.”
You didn't link an article. The article I’ve quoted says two home games and no mention of ownership
Where does it mention ownershipNo he didn’t he said the bears were happy to play in any of those locations, there’s a massive difference!

I read the articleYou didn't link an article.
You linked an interview, and Billy completely undermined your claims in that interview.
Funny that i was just thinking this Pacifica club has the real possibility of taking over gws‘s mantle as worse thought out expansion in Australian sport lol
The only reason Perth is a chance at an nrl team now is govt involvementI hope so just for the shts and giggles that will come with watching the nrl try and make a pacifika team work
You’re forgetting the Macarthur BullsFunny that i was just thinking this Pacifica club has the real possibility of taking over gws‘s mantle as worse thought out expansion in Australian sport lol
