Manly would have gone into their shell last 1/2 hour and turned it into a defensive game for practice and also for injury prevention (IMO). I seriously doubt Walsh was the main reason why they scored so many, i'd be more inclined to blame outside backs and props.

ACTUALLY PREMS PLAYED THE SAINTS, IM TALKING ABOUT PREMIER LEAGUE NOT FLEGG.

Walshy the reason we got beaten by 50? Give me a break

Im yet to see walshy bounce back from last year...he was woeful late last year, and this injury may have ruined his confidence...

He shouldn't of played this week, and getting injured again on the weekend (even if it was a niggling injury) shows that he was bought back too soon....

Just cos a score at halftime is team A 12 team B 6 doesnt mean it will be 24-12 at fulltime.

To blame him for scoring 40 while he is on the field is laughable.... maybe the boys dug in cos their 7 was on the bench.... who knows.

Going off reports he was due back two weeks ago, but Smith kept him out for longer than need be to make sure that he didn't re-injure himself.

probably a good reason that smith kept him back then, otherwise he would of been out for longer, and we would of lost to the lions;-)

Back on topic... looks like Gordon will be on the wing this week Vs Brisbane after hearing the press conference on the Knights website. Marvin will retain his spot as well, Smith impressed with his defensive work against the Warriors.

Smith also said that Walsh and Uate will be making their debuts over the next few weeks

that all sounds good! Thanks for joining our club smith! If it was super coach, he'd have lowrie at 5/8, tanner at lock and probably a forward on the wing as he was to scared to give young players with loads of potencial like gordon a go unless there were 20 injuries and he had no choice.
