Michael was well behaved. As you know i was standing next to him.
He even caught a prize that was thrown by the eagle mascot and gave it to a young boy.

Ahhh, he's an ornament to the game! :)

He'll at least add one more to the crowd figures at Bartercard cup matches as he watches his Tamaki team-mates go around. Hopefully he brings the some carefree cheery attitude.

Nah, he won't be sighted at any Bartercard Cup games, whether he'd be on the field, or in the crowds. He'll be either at Ericsson Stadium or playing at an Australian venue.

And to think I didn't think he was even capable of catching a cold.

Back to the topic. I don't care what clubs people like this support, they should be evicted immediately.

I took my 6 year old to his first game this season. The test match at Suncorp. Everything was fine except the foul language that was used. One particular lady was calling the Australian team soft c**ks constantly.

second time in a just a few weeks that people have mentioned the poor behaviour of Manly fans.
Administrator AND abacus.

Tbh, the only time I've ever been abused at a football game was after the 05 Finals game at Parra Stadium.

ive seen one group of poor behaved manly at games this year, their behaviour was so bad we started a chant to get them to leave - worked a treat. apart from that i have never seen anything too bad

if its true i hope this person doesnt let the acts of a few get them down

Your crowd ain't got nothing to be proud of - just ask the Monaghans and don't come the roar prawn about it being their fault. I live close enough to go to more Raider games and the language that is forthcoming would bring a bush to any ladies. I was also threatened in a car park just walking out with my wife - by four or five smart alexs - but the trouble was that about 10 yards behind me was my three sons - so off they ran with their tale between their legs...heros

Of course you'd run away with the sydney media on the monaghan situation.............

On behalf of Manly fans everywhere just let me say, "Thank f**k for that".

Agree.

He is also not allowed to Brookie as the court order states he is not allowed within a km of Witty.

When I go to the footy I yell and carry on like a pork chop (no abuse or anything, I just like to yell, no major swearing). As such, I get plenty of attention from the people around me. Every away ground I've been to I've copped plenty of jibes from supporters around me, mostly in good spirit.

The only exceptions to the above in the 10 or so years I've been going to the footy have been:

1. Bulldogs vs Souths @ Aussie, 2002, when a bunch of their trouble makers (always the same, large groups of 15-16 year olds) walked through the Moore Park car park kicking-in panels of cars and abuse women...

2. NSW v QLD @ Suncorp, 2003... meh almost every QLDer up there is crazy. Having drunken morons throw full cans of beer at women wearing blue shirts on Caxton St...

3. Souths vs Manly @ Aussie, 1999 (last home game before we got kicked out), having some fat feral Manly fans abuse a bunch of aboriginal Souths supporters calling them names I do not wish to write here and telling them to die in the gutter...

And on a side note...

4. Souths vs Newcastle @ Central Coast, 2005, having a 65 year old women in full Newcastle gear tell me to sit down and shut the f*ck up.. the whole bay was in stitches (including myself)..

5. Souths vs Dragons @ WIN, 2005, getting absolutely flogged on the scoreboard, and almost got my lights knocked out... not because I was in a fight, but because I was in the middle of a group of Steelers supporters and a group of St George supporters who were at each others throats all night..

Pffft. I just have a fear of derelict football grounds and mud.

friday nite game between manly and canterbury spells trouble i suppse...

Manly Fans don't cause trouble. There will be no violence. As I said before, all fans scream profanities at a game. I have been to nearly every NRL ground in NSW and there is no exception.

When there is physical violence, then that is an issue. Until then....

Manly v Dogs at brookie always gets big crowds and usually there is a good rivarly between the fans on the hill.... but never any trouble from what i have seen... i doubt the idiot trouble makers would make the trip on a friday nite to brookie anyways... (if it doesnt sell out)

Funny I was at that game and copped a good spray from the handful of Rabbits fans that actually turned up to that game.

I can't bellieve there is a thread about this. FFS everyone swears at footy games. Everyone swears in this forum including this thread about bad language at the football game. How hypocritical complaining about bad language at a football game by using bad language.

I ask this question. How many people here have not heard any swear words at a football game??

People who are deaf need not answer.
