Hunt is highly regarded in Qld hence why he always gets picked. If he was from NSW he would never have got a run in Origin. Billy picking him at 9 and saying he has won 2 of the last 3 years player of the series for Qld is testament to that. Since he got the captaincy he has been phenomenal.

For me he is the best No.7 Saints have had since the merger. Fantastic player who plays with a heap of heart and is currently carrying the team on his shoulders again like he did last year. It's a shame we did not get as many games as we would have liked to see him with Widdop due to injuries.

Hunt isn't on 1 2 million but he would still be worth that price. A player's value is decided in multiple areas but the value he has to us is clear cut. We finally have a player that players will want to come here to play with. He clearly has the full respect of not just our team, but other teams too

He needs another game manager in the side. IMO it is easier to shine in a bottom 8 team if you are as good as Hunt. We win and the lazy scorer gives 3 points to the highest profile player.

Not in round1 gave it to Curran from Warriors and we won.

My way of thinking its good to give Sullivan some 1st grade games but go back to 2nds and get a full game at half to learn game management

Good plan. Sullivan can learn many things from Hunt, but game management is not one of them.

So is your theory if you don't play well in 2 -3 games you get dumped to reserve grade and we buy another player in that position, what happens if Flaningan plays shit for 2-3 games who do we buy Brodie Croft next??
