If kenny was soooooooooooo great then how come his longevityas an origin player is not matched by Wallys. 1980-1991...some record.

Then why was Origin born, so the best Queenslanders were playing in the Sydney comp could play for Queensland? Pre Origin, we saw how good your local comp was. Produced, what, 1 series win in 50 years?wally may not have played in the syd comp in his prime, but the sydney comp was not some high and mighty comp you may think it was.
The qld boys managed to kick NSW butt in 6 of the series (1980-1987) before the broncos came into the comp in 1988.
