As mentioned before, there will be a Probables vs Possibles (PvP) Tournament in November - December. Exact date to be confirmed.
The PvP tournament will be OPEN TO ALL COMERS: new teams and current teams are welcomed.
The PvP is an opportunity for teams to press for an invitation in the 2005 Forum Sevens competition which kicks off in March 2005.
We envisage the tournament to have approximately 2-3 pools of teams. The winner of each pool will play-off with the best two teams competing in a PvP Final.
The winner of the Final is not automatically guaranteed an invitation in the 2005 F7s comp, although it obviously helps. The main criteria is show a well run team which looks like they can get 5 players + 2 reserves on the park every round.
The obvious aim of this to have full teams in every game in 2005.
Please note that no current team is guaranteed an invitation to the 2005 comp, so if you think you might need to make an impression, the PvP tournament provides the ideal opportunity to throw your hat in the ring.
Ofcourse teams wishing to organise their own one-off trials after the PvP are welcomed to do so and these will also be taken into account when invitations are issued in the new year.
So... if you want to be part of the inaugural F7s Possibles vs Probables Tournament. Sign up here.
Any questions? Don't hesitate to ask.
Cheers.
