The penalty change is a good one and will speed up the game but teams without the ball need more time to hold down to prevent touch footy.

I do believe that when "the greatest game of all" was first coined, they weren't using the playing laws of NRL 2011.

Still relevent though which I'm sure you will agree.

i've always had suspicion this game was being branded off of the NHL

salary cap, multiple referees and now this powerplay

the NHL is purely an entertainment sport, there's games on every night and they allow players from each team to beat the crap out of each other 1 on 1 until 1 player falls down

I love the NHL but I don't want to see the NRL turned into the NHL
