He made one really good break that I noticed, didn’t really stand out either way apart from that.

For the Storm this week, I'd like to see Nicoll-Klokstad at fullback. Honestly, I'm not convinced that he's absolutely our starter there.

I'd like to see Wiliame get another run at centre and Metcalf another game at 6 and I want to see Walker at 14.

It's not really an interesting argument tbh. You think the hype around Metcalf is excessive given his limited experience. Cool.

I think it's excessive based on one trial match against the worst players from the worst team in the comp, not sure why that opinion is such a big deal (plus I was never a fan of Green when we had him). I hope he lives up to the hype.

After years of this stuff I get excited as often as I can because in the back of my mind I am thinking what if a trial against a lousy Tigers outfit is as good as it gets?
Do I really want to miss out on some happiness when that might be all I get?

Good news for us is that the Storm are pretty much out of the running for the $100K so might field a pretty weak side for the second trial and give us a chance of putting on another big score
