I feel Parra and the Sharks will both turn thier shit years around and be heavy weights in this years competition.
Both sides have in the off season looked at recruiting to boost thier weaknesses, Parra the forwards and Sharks the backs, and both teams have done it extremly well, and with Top players coming back from injury, Burt, Lyon, Dykes and Franze, Peachy(had a injury all year), Stevens and Beatiee, i expext big things from both these sides.

I hope for the eels, nsw and aust. sake jamie lyons stays uninjured this year and in saying that he will cut queensland to pieces this year as long as he gets good ball from inside .....and lolesi I hope your're right with that prediction about the sharks.
Cheers to all you parra people and good luck for 2004

Dykes actually turns 27 next week. He has played over 150 first grade games and made his debut on the 11th of March 1995. Nine years ago!!! Brenda and Dillon were still dating on 90210 for christ sake!!!

Feck that is ages ago!

i agree

also if both teams try and stay out of the judiciary systems way, they will have a ripper of a year

I think we might be getting a wee bit too excited after 7's form.
Especially considering how much we showed in 7's last year and then falling in a heap when it came to the real deal.

Don't get me wrong I am excited about this up and coming season but my expectations will be reserved until at least round 4 with a better than 50% success rate with no major injuries.

As far as rep duties are concerned I really hope for the players sake they are selected but from a Parramatta prospective I hope they miss out. Rep honours only cause injuries and increase player salary expectations, but in saying that it would be good to see our players given the recognition if they deserve it. My one rep wish this year is to see Killer at least play on his correct side of the field in S.O.O.!

Agree. In that i hope Killer gets to play his preferred side in Origin this year.
Disagree that grothe is any chance of playing S.O.O, especially after he pulled out of the team a few years back.
More than Agree that burt will contest for country. He will play for country. Nobody can justify Patten playing if there is another option.

From a club perspective. I think we have won our last 7 games at Parra Stadium. We win our first few home games against the Knights, Rabbits, Sharks and cowboys. We will be up to 11 wins at home in a row, and almost 12 months since our last home loss. Parra Stadium will once again be a fortress that clubs just assume they will lose at.
