Especially for centers...they seem to develop a more rounded game in union, rather than just the power game.
Totally. Maybe it’s the extra couple of men on the field but union centres don’t seem to simply think they can run through one defender and suddenly be in the backfield.

Thankfully I didn’t realise that was on last night !

for all their signings I saw the Dogs team on paper and it didn’t impress me, and Newcastle have major issues in their spine with Pearce leaving and Brailey done for most of the year

Arghhhh, lost Taupau, Olakau’atu and Walker so far tonight !

On the positive got to see Saab and Koula I’m open space, wow. Add in Garrick and Tom and it’s one of the quickest backlines I’ve seen

Bit gutted actually. Was looking forward to this game. Pretty sure Shaun didn’t play last week but were there any others who’ll be going into next weeks game with zero pre-season games? CHT with only 1/2 game (and average) at fullback will be a massive concern as well

Isolation has been killed starting this week by the sounds of it. As soon as the players are allowed through the border our home games should be good to go.

It’s only for NZ citizens at this point, but I imagine Aussies and others will be included soon.
