I prefer to think Anasta recovered from an injury and a sh*t halfback to start earning his paycheck. He was on fire this year and is one of the most passionate players around. Will be a top Rooster for years to come methinks

If Braith Anasta is one of the Roosters top players and will be for years to come, thats some very tough years the Roosters will go through.

Most of Parra's side performed for most of the year. Of the Roosters, Anasta Wing Fitzy and Perret performed until Fittler turned the rest of the bludgers around

Utter rubbish. There is some major Anasta hatred among RL fans and I'm not sure what he's done to deserve it, other than being 'overrated'. I'm sure he didn't ask a bunch of loungeroom coaches and internet heroes to rate him in the first place. Admittedly his form was piss poor last year, but in 04 he was among the best in a side that won the comp, and prior to that had played for Australia (again admittedly with some iffy form in between). But seriously I've never seen a player so hated just for some inconsistent form...surely there isn't that much sympathy for the Souffs rabble? I just can't see where the hatred comes from. I've never seen im as a dirty player or a whinger, even at the Dogs. Its madness I tell you :crazy:Anyways. Tired. I'm off. Hopefully I'll have a sensible reply to this tomorrow. Doubtful, seeing all you've said so far is baseless crap, such as the above comment.
