Imo Anasta had a pretty good year this year. Always gives 100%

Yep agreed....a very very solid player who played a significant role in their late resurgence...the overated calls are just the sheep bleating.

Dance around the issue - but Manly's performance backed up what i was saying all year - with the refs behind them at Brookvale, they will obviously go OK. But, in the big game, with referees in the spotlight, Manly were sown up for what they are. And, with Monnas gone, next year will be a terrible year for Manly.

PS - my mate also had a sh*tload on the Storm to win in January.

My guess is that manly won away more times than your team won at home.

Finally some common sense. Something I see eels_fan_01 has yet to provide.

He was one of the few having a go at the start of the year.

Sure, I'll give it a crack.

Front runners
Storm - Retain the neucleus of a premiership winning side. Will go close again
North Queensland - Kept their good guys and have the beginnings of an awesome halves combination in Thurston/Burns
Parramatta - I hate to say it, but they should continue to play well
Penrith - If they can sort out their halves, they'll improve
New Zealand - Should go one game better than this year

Flops
Manly - They should make the eight, but the demoralising effect of such a heavy Grand Final loss may damage them more than they think
Saints - Failure
Sharks - 41 years and won f**k all
Bulldogs - Their time is over, or feels like it, a dip is due.

Grand final - Melbourne vs. Parramatta
Wooden Spoon - Wests
SOO - NSW

No you can blame Mitchell Pearce for that one.

Anasta was carrying the kid, as soon as Pearce got injured we started to look good with the likes of Wingy in the halves.

Cronulla top 4

LOL!!!!! It'll be 42 years and Juan Farkall.

My predictions:

At least 1 high profile player to be tested positive for drugs.

Minor Premiers: Warriors
Top 4 - Warriors, Cowboys, Dragons, Souths
GF: Warriors vs either Dragons or Cowboys
Melbourne to finish 5th - 7th
Wooden Spoon - Sharks
Brisbane to miss the 8
Kiwis to clean sweep the Tri-nations
SOO - NSW 2-1 with Bellamy at the helm

The missus just told me that she predicts a Dragons vs Souths GF.

 Pathetic. Penrith and Newcastle both thoroughly earned the dubious honour... Penrith clinched it in the final round.
