Has been confirmed by the NRL to be the Saturday game. One must wonder where the advantage for the minor premiers is in the scheduling but anyways.

As far as tickets go, members obviously get first dig, do we receive an email with a code or are we already meant to have received it? Is it the same code that the NRL sent in July for the original allocation of GF tickets? Same question applies for the GF if we get there.

Damn this Saturday game. I was hoping it would be the Friday so that I could go. Working weekends is woeful for my footy attendance.

Yes, it's the code they sent for the original GF tickets. That's your code all the way through. If you've lost it, just call the club (membership department) who can give it to you.

Thanks for the info. I have found the code so all good.

Easts won't want to slip up. Not only are you playing Newcastle you are playing the 'Quiet man of the league' Bennett. I think Easts will win though.

Will be very tough against a strong, confidant, happy and united team.
Not to mention an old bloke who knows how to get the best out of his players.

Newcastle have no chance. Their first choice scrum half, Tyrone Roberts has a hyperextended knee (he got it 3 minutes from full time against Melbourne) and will likely not play. His automatic replacement Craig Gower has a nerve injury in his neck and may not be 100% even if he volunteers to play. 3rd choice scrum half Matt Hilder is a certified goose and a real liability for Newcastle.

I expect the Roosters to pile on 36 points, with only the Fijian flyers Akuila Uate and Kevin Naiqama offering any attacking threat to the Roosters defence.
