Welcome to the NSWRL website. We care !!!! LMAO............

The draw is everything. Jets need some sides to lose as well as win themselves. All those losses in a row and none more than five points differnce. two point loss, three point loss. FMD !!!! What could have been. And ALL those close losses with a team that was left after half given away to other clubs. Arse raped !!!

The Panthers team to play the Knights:

1. Liam Georgetown (c), 2. Nick Youngquest, 3. Geoff Daniela, 4. Richie Williams, 5. Matthew Forwood, 6. Brett Firman, 7. Craig Trindall, 8. Tony Puletua, 9. Keith Peters, 10. Tim Grant, 11. Matthew Cross, 12. Junior Moors, 13. Josh Bateman. Interchange: 14. Liam Campbell, 15. Alex Ranieri, 16. Andrew Pearn, 17. James Nightingale.

11 of the starting 13 have played first grade, with only Trindall not having played this year.

Unbelievable.

It is very interesting to look at the Premier League team lists for this week to see how much NRL experiance there is. http://www.nswrl.com.au/files/PL23.pdf

Which is why we are looking to make sure we don't have that problem next year. Simply can't compete without a good smattering of First Grade experience.

Norths beat Manly today and Cronulla and Auckland both lost.

This means Norths are assured of a place in the finals!

Penrith 24 - 14 Newcastle

I don't know what happened to the Knights backline - but Gordon, Franze, Hession and Hinton were all missing and Johnson and Wooden came up from Newcastle Wests and Tillot from the Macquarie Scorpions, and for some reason second rower Kurt Sorensen played half the game on the wing.
I think one of the forwards was also a late call-up from the Newcastle comp.
I don't know if we are doing trials for next season or if the bus crashed on the way to the ground.
