so we ship off Tobin and Gower - too players that have been with us for a few years and performed well, to the magpies so we can steal their players and make room for all the wests tigers second rate signings?

grrr this is making me angrier by the day....

still no sign of shultzy and kmet - it seems they've managed to clean out every one of my favourites in a single season :(

Luke Young is a young forward who played in the arrive alive cup this year - not the same guy who played for the Bulldogs I'm 99.9% sure.

What other Newtown players are involved in the merger? Or are there only FOUR? I need an entire list of all Newtown players, from JF & PL, who are participating in the merged outfit.

You won't get such a list for a while. Squads are still being trimmed etc.

Thats cool. It's just that the Roosters squad was on their website. Although, it is slightly out of date, as on the website, it has not notified in the player contract section that Pee Wee Moke has signed to Sharks, or that Jack Rampling has signed with Souths. But the other signings have been confirmed by other sources, & those who i noted as "Unknown Contract Positions" are those who were in our 2005 squad, yet were not named in our 2006 squad. I know that 4 of the Newtown players (Rimini Reweti, Vince Mellars, Ed Leuluai, Lafi Manua) have all been confirmed. I am just waiting for the remainder of the Newtown players coming over. This past season left a number of Newtown players on the open market, including the four aforementioned, along with Adam Bennett, Ryan Dickson, David Hall, Geoff Johnson, Andrew Le Breton, Richard Parker, Dimitri Pelo, Kiel Roberts, Ricky Roberts, Glen Sedwell & David Vial. I found an article on the Newtown website, which stated this.

7-Nov-05 Jets Signings for 2006
The following players have been signed for the 2006 season: Adam Bennett, Kiel Roberts, Ricky Roberts, David Vial, Rimini Reweti, Ed Leuluai and Ryan Dickson. Congratulations gentlemen!

If this means that additionally to the four aforementioned above, that Adam Bennett, Kiel & Ricky Roberts, David Vial & Ryan Dickson have been signed to the merger, then the future looks bright.

Yeah he is trialling with the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs have bought very well this year. They are certainly Top 4 material.

The Bulldogs have decided not to offer Kelly a contract for next season.
