My Newtown loving Brother inlaw tried to pull out the "ole Wilson replacing Ridonikious excuse" problem was I had to explain to him that he actually replaced Paul Morris :lol:

I thought you handled Kenny ok but the damage was done in the 65th minute when our replacement, Steve Sharp put Sterlo through a gap on the Kensignton end of the SCG than found Atkins to race over..

Kenny scored a length of the field try by memory . ( Painful memories ). But just pictured little tommy going over in the first half, feel better now. LOl...Think it was his only try of the 1981 season as well. He was definately pumped. !!

People don't realise how close Newtown came but when you watch the game you always have the feeling that nothing would deny Parramatta again.

Mate, Pricey put Bert clear from the scrum base a couple of minutes after O'Grady scored..that was all Pricey's try ;-)

Tommy actually scored early in the second half to give the Jets the lead.

Yeah that's right. Hey did you hear they are changing the name to the Cumberland room at parra, think that's a slap in the face to a legend player. He played 10 years with Parra yeah. Great player.

it's a bit of a slap on the chops yeah, however the wrong people are getting blamed for it and they have named a suite after him to compensate it.
