Scuse me, who was that team i saw out there?
Holy shit did they play different to last year. They were like a competent team. They could tackle and hold out teams close to the tryline. And in attack they looked way more in control. Great performance from the bears. When i walked in i was worried cos it was 10-0 to the dragons but they played awesome.
The jersey still sucks tho.
They need to work on the last ten minutes cos you could see them starting to fade a bit at the end and almost lost the game in the last tackle. However and incredible improvement on last season.

Yeah theyve got a good lin eup. Campese and Carney in the halves, Chalk, Robertson and Smith in the backs. but i reckon these guys will get a call up to NRL for the raiders during the season so they wont be as strong as they were today all the time.

Can they stop referring to the Jtes as Newtown-Cronulla. It is factually incorrect. It appeared like that in the newspapers and on the NSWRL website.

There is no identity crisis at Newtown Fanny. It was some clown's error in round 1 stating the team as 'Newtown Cronulla Jets' when in fact there has never or will a team by that name.

Well done to Norths for being on top. Might be able to pay for some proper jersey's now?
